July of 2017 is the 34th
Anniversary of the Romanian
Folk Art Museum
, the oldest most
active Romanian-American non-profit
organization promoting the Romanian
culture in US to the public at large and
the mass-media. Still, it relies mostly
on support from one family rather then
large communities as it should. We
need to change this or else the
museum might not continue to be open
to the public. Romania is invited to
take charge as well as the Romanian
communities in US, especially in the
states of PA, NJ, NY.

This page will be completed
asap. For
May and June we are planning a series
of programs
of cultural dialogues on
and a campaign to save the
museum and gradually transfer it to a
new leadership ( hopefully to organize
a nice Anniversary in US and in
Romania in June or  July )

Please join us as we are striving to
preserve for posterity an important
European cultural treasury! The
museum needs help ! Contact us
offer to help, including from a distance
by popularizing the museum and its
program for INTERNSHIP.

Also, plan to visit us in Romania in
June-July, in the charming medieval
mountain city of Brasov, near
Bran-Dracula Castle.
 WE can arrange
for accomodations and for trips to the
renown villages of the Fagaras County
Mountains and in the counties if
Brasov and Sibiu where there
hundreds of  picturesque churches
,mostly Orthodox but also many dozen
built centuries ago with surrounding
walls by the German-Saxon ethnic
people. One such village is Prejmer ,
30 min from Brasov and Viscri, one+
hour North-East, where Prince Charles
of England set up a foundation to help
preserve the traditional architecture
and village crafts.

WE would like to introduce you to our
special artisans who are exhibiting at
our location their master pieces of
replica of the old traditional
Transylvanian painted furniture of
mainly German and Alsacian origin.

Be a friend of the world cultural
heritages !
